I haven't had a colicky baby, but I had two who behaved similarly due to sensory and neurological deficits.

If Avery sleeps well in the bathroom with the fan on, you might try a small fan in her room (that is, if you haven't already). My Reece (mild CP and sensory integration deficits) needed a fan and COMPLETE darkness for all naps and bedtime (NO nightlight; no, no, no).
BLessings,
~Toni~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-91314734477966968592007-04-22T09:04:00.000-05:002007-04-22T09:04:00.000-05:00Sounds lovely. I didn't come up with the idea, so I can't take credit or blame for it, but it does work for my baby a majority of the time. :) Let me know how it goes!mamashinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08241907694055621400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-3046586524693040532007-04-18T18:49:00.000-05:002007-04-18T18:49:00.000-05:00I was so sorry to read about Jim's mom, your mothe...I was so sorry to read about Jim's mom, your mother-in-law. I've been praying for you guys. As for Avery, does it feel good to know what's wrong with her? Does it give you hope that after she's better from the colic, that she might be able to sleep?annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621915642420308973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-40691869097390339722007-04-18T14:31:00.000-05:002007-04-18T14:31:00.000-05:00Lydia's baby, Cora, is on zantac, too, and has bee...Lydia's baby, Cora, is on zantac, too, and has been for months. She's gotten to the place where she doesn't fight the medication now, and it seemed to keep her cries from being so hoarse. She still spits up, but not nearly as much as she did when she was younger. Keep fighting with the zantac--it may be worth the effort.Toozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11495892080894540783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-88848743302166996132007-04-18T09:43:00.000-05:002007-04-18T09:43:00.000-05:00Hi. Thanks for stopping over at my blog. Sounds ...Hi. Thanks for stopping over at my blog. Sounds like you're pretty busy with four kiddos. I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with colic. I know I don't know you and I don't want to sound all "you should do this and that" but I just wanted to make one suggestion. Since you are nursing have you considered going off dairy? I've heard that can make a huge difference.Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10795520588490925799noreply@blogger.com
