It's like running cold water down the baby's back. Or you can drink grape juice or apple juice. If my babies weren't moving enough for the tests, they'd give me grape juice. Grape juice has lots of sugar and always got my babies going for the myriad of tests that they had! I was WIRED after I had a little tiny bit of caffeine after not having any through the pregnancy, so the juice was a much better choice for mommy and babies. :) Can't wait to hear the results of the next ultrasound!!!House of Changhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14713458824730133665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-1160967381923721032006-10-15T21:56:00.000-05:002006-10-15T21:56:00.000-05:00Yup, just a few more days!Yup, just a few more days!Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09327853756206724940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-1160941765208761502006-10-15T14:49:00.000-05:002006-10-15T14:49:00.000-05:00This coming thursday? This coming thursday?annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621915642420308973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-1160780801246513472006-10-13T18:06:00.000-05:002006-10-13T18:06:00.000-05:00Yeah, we were pop-a-holics when the kids were litt...Yeah, we were pop-a-holics when the kids were little. They did know how to drink apple juice and Gatorade, too, and Lydia has memories of eating the sugar out of the bottom of the iced tea pitchers when I wasn't looking. I did cut back on the sugar, only half what the recipe called for, and I always drank diet pop. For the most part, the kids did, too. David and I still do drink diet. We drink them at room temperature, and if we have left them in the car, we drink them hot. That's where the hot pop comes from. And seldom ever do I drink it before lunch.Toozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11495892080894540783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30575869.post-1160748703691765512006-10-13T09:11:00.000-05:002006-10-13T09:11:00.000-05:00It's in the fridge now. They taste pretty good (I've had my share of 'em) and they are hard enough to help those molars come through. Then anbesol jr - lots and lots of anbesol jr! Oh, and is he old enough to nosh on popsicles to help with the pain? That should numb the old gums enough to give him some relief for a little while.

For the ultra sound:
Dr. Pepper or Mt. Dew have more caffeine. If you're worried about the acidity and carbonation on your belly at 8 a.m., you could always buy a pre-bottled Starbucks Frappaccino at the gas station. That'll get him/her moving!Jenn-Jenn, the Mother Henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01850119465505660438noreply@blogger.com
